The role -

The position sees you placed at an Assistant Vice President position responsible for the daily support of up to 100 users across front, middle and back office. There is a Shared Services model in place across the region and Specialist Knowledge is and support is provided by separate teams. The role is very much a hands on focused role and you will spend most of your time in front of the customer dealing with their IT problems. The position requires someone with a proven track record in supporting demanding and high pressured environments ideally within a large investment bank. It is a rewarding role that will give you multiple career opportunities throughout the organisation and industry. This type of position does not come around regularly and is highly regarded as an excellent career move.

Technical requirements -

- Trade floor Support is ESSENTIAL

- 3+ years supporting Investment banking Market Data systems

- Very strong Microsoft Desktop product knowledge, XP

- Citrix knowledge

- Experience in troubleshooting both network and system infrastructure

Non technical requirements -

- An ability to handle and manage stressful situations.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- First class relationship skills both for the users and team.

- A strive to be the best and willing to go the extra mile to succeed.
